opamp generally starts with a diff amp, then a gain stage with a cross cap for a stabilizing pole and set HF rolloff, then the output stage for impedance matching
sometimes cross cap goes across last two stages
output usually has a common source mosfet for current gain 
the cap can be internal or external
definitely need to look over stuff from the lecture today

looking at open loop gain curves for lm741 opamp
get massive gain for low frequencies
very low gain for very high freqs
inversely proportional
can trade gain for bandwidth
